Account Onboarding Checklist
Complete these setup tasks so GrowthPilotHQ is ready for live campaigns and team collaboration.
Step 1: Apply brand settings
- Instruction: Go to Settings → Brand and upload your logo, set brand colors, and fill in company details.
- Expected: Brand assets appear in funnels, emails, and the account header.
- Why it matters: Consistent branding builds trust and improves conversions.
- Troubleshooting: If images fail to upload, check file size/type and retry; clear cache if old assets persist.
Step 2: Connect email and SMS channels
- Instruction: Go to Settings → Channels and connect your email provider and SMS number, following verification prompts.
- Expected: Channels report as connected and you can send test messages.
- Why it matters: Connected channels enable sending campaigns, automations, and notifications.
- Troubleshooting: Verify DNS and carrier registration steps if sends are blocked.
Step 3: Invite users and assign roles
- Instruction: Open Team → Invite User, enter the teammate’s email, and choose a role (Admin, Editor, Viewer).
- Expected: Invited users receive an email and appear on the team list after acceptance.
- Why it matters: Proper roles prevent accidental changes and ensure team members have correct access.
- Troubleshooting: If invites aren’t received, confirm the email address and check spam filters.
Step 4: Review privacy and security
- Instruction: In Settings → Privacy, review data retention settings and enable MFA for admins.
- Expected: Security settings are enabled and documented for compliance.
- Why it matters: Protects customer data and reduces operational risk.
- Troubleshooting: If MFA setup fails, verify supported authenticator apps or contact support.
What success looks like
- Brand appears throughout the account and emails.
- Channels are connected and test messages succeed.
