Step 1: Sign in and confirm account

  • Instruction: Sign in at the GrowthPilotHQ login page with the email you registered.
  • Expected: You land on the dashboard after successful authentication.
  • Why it matters: Access to the dashboard is the first step to configuring your account.
  • Troubleshooting: If you can’t sign in, use password reset or contact support.

Step 2: Update your profile and timezone

  • Instruction: Click your avatar → Account settings, and update business name, timezone, and contact email.
  • Expected: Timestamps and notifications use the correct timezone and contact details.
  • Why it matters: Accurate timezone and business details prevent scheduling and reporting errors.
  • Troubleshooting: If changes don’t save, refresh and try again or check permissions.

Step 3: Take a quick dashboard tour

  • Instruction: Explore Dashboard, Funnels, Automations, and Inbox to understand core areas.
  • Expected: You can locate funnels, automations, and message inbox features.
  • Why it matters: Familiarity speeds up setup and reduces mistakes.
  • Troubleshooting: If a section is missing, confirm your role and permissions.

Step 4: Connect communications channels

  • Instruction: In Settings → Channels, connect email and SMS providers to enable sends and tracking.
  • Expected: Channels show as connected and you can send test messages.
  • Why it matters: Connected channels are required for campaigns and automations to send.
  • Troubleshooting: If connections fail, verify provider credentials and DNS where applicable.

Step 5: Create your first funnel

  • Instruction: Go to Funnels → Create New, pick a template, edit the page, and publish.
  • Expected: A live funnel page is published and a test submission appears in CRM.
  • Why it matters: Launching a funnel is the core path to capturing leads.
  • Troubleshooting: If the form doesn’t submit, check form field mappings and analytics scripts.

What success looks like

  • You can access the dashboard, channels are connected, and a test lead completes the funnel flow.
