title: "Reporting & Analytics"
Find actionable insights on funnels, campaigns, and channels so you can prioritize improvements.
Step 1: Open the Reports dashboard
- Instruction: Go to Reporting → Overview to view conversions, revenue trends, and top sources.
- Expected: A dashboard summarizes recent performance and key KPIs.
- Why it matters: The overview gives a quick health check of marketing and sales efforts.
- Troubleshooting: If the dashboard loads slowly, reduce the date range or filters.
Step 2: Set the date range
- Instruction: Choose the timeframe you want to analyze (last 7/30/90 days or custom range).
- Expected: Metrics update to reflect the selected timeframe.
- Why it matters: Proper date ranges reveal trends and seasonal effects.
- Troubleshooting: If metrics seem off, confirm timezone and attribution windows.
Step 3: Inspect a funnel or campaign
- Instruction: Click a funnel or campaign card to view conversion steps and drop-off points.
- Expected: Stage-by-stage conversion rates and counts appear for the selected funnel.
- Why it matters: This helps pinpoint where optimization will have the biggest impact.
- Troubleshooting: If a funnel shows zero conversions, ensure tracking pixels and form integrations are active.
Step 4: Filter by sources and UTM tags
- Instruction: Apply filters for traffic source, campaign, or UTM tag to compare channel performance.
- Expected: A breakdown of conversions and revenue by selected dimension.
- Why it matters: Channel-level insights inform budget allocation and creative focus.
- Troubleshooting: If UTM data is missing, ensure tracking parameters are appended to campaign links.
Step 5: Export data
- Instruction: Use Export (CSV) or share report links to send data to stakeholders.
- Expected: A CSV or shareable link is generated for the selected filters.
- Why it matters: Exporting data enables deeper analysis or reporting to finance.
- Troubleshooting: For large date ranges, exports may take longer; try smaller ranges if it times out.
Step 6: Schedule regular reviews
- Instruction: Set a weekly or monthly cadence to review reports and prioritize tests (headline, CTA, timing).
- Expected: A documented list of tests and optimizations based on report findings.
- Why it matters: Regular reviews keep your optimization pipeline focused and measurable.
- Troubleshooting: Share exported reports with the team to align on priorities.
What success looks like
- Clear top-performing funnels and channels, improved conversion rates after tests, and reliable reporting to support decisions.
